The electronic flash unit can be switched on with a slide at the top. The flash distance for 100 ASA film is 1,5 - 3 meters,for 400 ASA film 1,5 - 4,5 meters. This is indicated in German at the back; together with an indication in feet. Power supply with 2 AAA batteries.
